Adelaide SQL Server User Group

Welcome

Welcome to the Adelaide PASS group - covering SQL Server and every aspect of the Microsoft Data Platform and Data Analytics space. You can find us on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, at the Microsoft offices, Level 12, 147 Pirie St.

There's a link below to get on the mailing list.

We use EventBrite for meeting registrations - please look at adssug.eventbrite.com for a list of our meetings.

Previously, we used sqlserver.org.au, and you can see an archive of events on that site - but the Adelaide mailing list from there hasn't been used for some time.

Our next event

Our next meeting will be on the third Wednesday of the month. We use EventBrite for registrations, so please register at http://adssug201304.eventbrite.com.

Our next meeting is: Wed, Apr 17 2013 12:00 to 14:00 in Adelaide.

SSDT - Managing your SQL schemas with style
SQL Server Data Tools is an extension for Visual Studio that allows you to build, debug, maintain, and refactor databases. In this presentation, David will demonstrate how using SSDT can facilitate wrangling your schema into shape, and maybe even reduce the gap that sometimes exists between your database and application development processes.

Speaker: David Gardiner
David Gardiner is a Senior Development Engineer for MatrixGroup, where he is part of the team that develops commodity handling solutions based on .NET and SQL Server for mining and grain industries. He has a passion for continual learning and improvement (must be something to do with having worked with Rob at LobsterPot and 13 years for UniSA!).

There is always stuff going on in the PASS community. For more information about these events, please contact the group leader, Rob Farley (try emailing through lobsterpot.com.au).
